Affiliate Disclosure

Petnux is reader-supported. This page explains how that works, in plain language.

The short version

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and then buy something, we may earn a commission. The price you pay is exactly the same — the commission comes out of the merchant’s margin, not your pocket.

The longer version

We participate in affiliate programmes with retailers and brands in the pet industry, including:

  • Amazon Associates
  • Chewy
  • and other programmes we join over time

When we link to a product, that link may contain a tracking code that tells the merchant the visit came from Petnux. If a purchase happens within the programme’s attribution window, the merchant pays us a percentage of the sale or a flat fee.

What this does and does not affect

Does not affect: which products we recommend, what we say about them, or whether we publish a negative review. We buy products ourselves, we pay the same price you do, and no brand sees or approves our content before it goes live.

Does affect: our ability to keep doing this. Affiliate revenue and advertising are what pay for the products we test, the hosting, and the time it takes to write reviews properly.

If a product is not good, we say so. If we think you should not buy something at all, we say that too. A recommendation that fits everyone is not a recommendation.

Amazon Associates required disclosure

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Questions

If you are unsure whether a specific link is an affiliate link, email hello@petnux.com and we will tell you. Our full Privacy Policy explains what cookies these programmes may set.
